IME Property in Holyrood Road purchase
IME Property has acquired 14-16 Holyrood Road in Edinburgh's Old Town on behalf of a private client for a sum in excess of £600,000.
The C-listed building, considered to be the only 19th century survivor in an otherwise extensively redeveloped part of the city, is instantly recognisable to passers by mainly due to its red sandstone construction.
The property stands at the junction of the Pleasance and the Cowgate and is only a short distance from the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace.
"The position and appeal of this building is what attracted our client to it and we were delighted to successfully negotiate its purchase for our client," says IME's founder and owner, Ian McDonald.
Such is the prominence of the property, IME will have marketing boards on each gable from 1st December promoting their abilities to act for clients in acquiring commercial property.
