IME Property confirmed as double award nominees

February 2, 2018

The second round of finalists for the forthcoming Scottish Property Awards were announced last night (Thursday 1st February), with IME Property picking up their second award nomination.

The award winning commercial property agency has been nominated as a finalist in the Rising Star of the Year category for the second year running and will go head-to-head with Crucible Alba, Fairfield Real Estate and KR Developments.

The announcement was made at a reception held at the recently completed Courtyard by Marriot at Baxters Place, Edinburgh. In November, the company was confirmed as a finalist in the Hotel, Leisure and Retail Agency Team of the Year category alongside JLL and Cushman and Wakefield.

It is the third successive year IME Property has been nominated as a finalist at the Scottish Property Awards which identifies the industry's best organisations.

In October, the firm collected its first major award after the real estate intelligence gathering outfit EGi confirmed IME as a Top 5 Winner in Edinburgh's Most Active Agent competition.

"This latest recognition from the judging panel is a tremendous accolade for the hard work and endeavour put in by the whole team here at Home Street," said managing director, Iain Mercer.

"For the first time we are nominated in two categories and we are up against some great companies so it promises to be an exciting evening - good luck to everyone involved."

Alasdair Humphery, Director at JLL and member of the judging panel delivered commented:

“The Scottish Property Awards continues to grow and develop a high-quality awards programme which takes the decisions on finding the best in the market extremely seriously.  Our independent judging panel consists of a collective of the most experienced and successful individuals in Scottish commercial property including 5 new judges this year.    Very many thanks to all of them for their hard work assessing and debating the merits of each and every entry.”

The awards dinner will take place at the Glasgow Hilton on 1st March with up to 700 people expected to attend.
