The IME Fantasy Football League kicks off tonight with no fewer than 50 teams competing in this year's competition - a massive 288% increase on last year!
Entrants have the opportunity to assemble a virtual football squad of 15 players selecting from across the English Premiership with a £100m player budget at their disposal.
Once again IME's league has captured the imagination of people from across the Scottish property industry with entries from a number of property agents, surveyors and IME clients.
The new league sees a return for Eric Young & Co's Neil McConnachie who will be hoping his 'Mr McC's Barmy Army' can go one step further and clinch the title after falling short by only 4 points last term.
Joining him from the same company is Ali Rowe's aptly named 'Rowetation System' whilst there are a number of notable new entries too including Graham and Sibbald's Keith Watters' 'Champs Ian League' and Tuffin Ferraby Taylor's Craig Weir who debuts 'Goalie's Union'.
"We're delighted with the take-up this year - it's great to see so many buying into our league. It is always good fun and a source of banter and ribbing come Monday morning," says IME's managing director, Iain Mercer.
The winner of the league will receive a cheque for £300, the runner-up £150 and third place will receive a £50 John Lewis voucher.
"The IME Fantasy Football League is a great way of engaging our contacts and clients over the course of the season," continued Mr Mercer.
"And with such an increase in teams we are expecting it to be uber competitive from start to finish."
The deadline for submitting entries is 18.45 tonight. If you are keen to get involved then please follow this link to another part of our website and follow the instructions nohow to enter your team.
