Alzheimer Scotland's Edinburgh Branch Sold

IME Property is pleased to confirm the successful sale of Alzheimer Scotland's Edinburgh branch to a private investor for a sum in excess of £85,000.

The 635 sq ft property at 139 St Leonard's Place in the popular Newington area of the city was placed on the market on 8th March.

Due to high levels of interest from a number of parties, including developers and business owners, a closing date was set for Friday 1st April resulting in a number of bids.

"We often find that properties of this size and pricing generate good enquiry levels.  That coupled with IME's strong marketing and city-wide branding, meant we were able to set a closing date and achieve a good result for the client," said IME managing director, Iain Mercer.

Commenting on the transaction Alzheimer Scotland's finance director, Kevin Craik, said: "This was the first time I have used this company and found it a very smooth and pain-free process.  A professional and cost effective service was sought and provided for and all deadlines were achieved without fuss."
